Early American Sewing

Museum tours of the main floor begin at 1pm with last tours starting at 3:30pm. The museum closes at 4pm.

Today, the Monmouth Co. Historical Association's Historic Sewing Group with us. They will be spinning, weaving, doing embroidery, hand-sewing, knitting, quilting and more on our lower porch, lower level and even on the main floor! 

ADA notification: Our lower level is not wheelchair accessible. There are a few steps up from the lower drive to the porch. Bench seating inside is limited. The museum has a boardwalk access to the museum entrances (1st-- step up, 2nd -- wheelchair accessible).

Limited on-site parking (including two designated handicap parking spaces closest to the boardwalk). Our driveway and back parking are opened. Please drive slowly as the surface is loose rock. The back parking has limited spaces. If it is filled, please park in town and walk over (Washington Ave. past the stone church). Please be aware that Wall Street has very limited and timed parking. It is suggested that visitors park on Washington Ave., past the stone Methodist church, and walk over.
