MUSEUM TOURS & "SHIPPEN TALKS"

Empire Steel & Iron (Oxford)

Museum tours of the main floor begin at 1pm with last tours starting at 3:30pm. The museum closes at 4pm.

Our final "Shippen Talks" speaker of the season is John Dunado from Rockaway Township Historical Society. He will be discussing Oxford and their site in Rockaway (Mt. Hope Mining), which were both owned by Empire Steel & Iron Co.

Limited on-site parking (including two designated handicap parking spaces closest to the boardwalk). Our driveway and back parking are opened. Please drive slowly as the surface is loose rock. The back parking has limited spaces. If it is filled, please park in town and walk over (Washington Ave. past the stone church). Please be aware that Wall Street has very limited and timed parking. It is suggested that visitors park on Washington Ave., past the stone Methodist church, and walk over.
